Volvo Cars of North America, LLC reports sales of 3,356 units in the United States for February, a 15 percent increase from January.
Compared to February last year, sales were down 55.3 percent.
Overall in North America (United States and Canada), Volvo sold 6,915 units year-to-date, which is 58.1 percent off compared to the same period for 2008*. For the month in Canada, Volvo sales were down 20.6 percent, with 363 units sold.
Volvo Cars of North America, LLC (VCNA) is a subsidiary of Volvo Car Corporation of Göteborg, Sweden.
VCNA provides marketing, sales, parts, service, technology and training support to Volvo automobile retailers in the United States, and oversees Volvo operations in Canada.
