Clovis Dealerships Incentives for Car Buyers in May 2009
Valley residents looking to buy a car may want to stop by a Clovis dealership on Wednesday.
The City's auto dealerships are offering a sales tax rebate if you buy one of their cars through their "Big Wins Day II" promotion.
Basically, if you shell out money for a new ride 1% of the sales tax goes toward a rebate in the form of a shop and dine card.
You can then use the rebate card at various Clovis merchants.
"This is truly a great community-wide event," explained Tina Sumner, Clovis' Interim Director of Community & Economic Development. "It represents the community's ability to keep money circulating. This is true local economic stimulus."
You do not have to be a Clovis resident to participate in the event. Dealerships included in the promotion are Bingham Toyota / Scion, Clovis Nissan, Clovis Volkswagen, Future Ford / Kia, Hedrick's Chevrolet or Honda North.
"This promotion should help convince anyone who is thinking about purchasing a new vehicle to buy it now and buy it in Clovis," explained Clovis City Manager Kathy Millison.
