The premium Platinum package will be offered on CrewMax Limited models with the 5.7-liter V8. On the outside, a billet-style grille, chrome bumpers, special 20-inch wheels, door sill protectors and Platinum badges distinguish the range-topping truck from others.
For the cabin, the Platinum option adds a power driver's seat with memory, puddle lamps, moonroof, navigation, vented seats, unique leather seats and wood-trim shift knob and door trim. The Platinum package retails for $5,140, in addition to the price of the base truck.
On the engine front, Toyota brings a new 4.6-liter V8 with 310 hp and 327 lb-ft of torque, which replaces the 4.7-liter V8 as the mid-range powerplant choice.

Toyota estimates fuel economy will be 15 mpg in the city and 20 mph on the highway. The new V8 shares the six-speed automatic transmission with the range-topping 5.7-liter V8.
As for the rest of the Tundra range, it gets updated grilles, rear lamp housings, standard front knee airbags and height-adjustable headlights.
The 2010 Toyota Tundra hits dealers in April with sticker prices that start at about $23,500.
